Seattle Alliance Cancer Treatment (SCCA) is a cancer treatment center in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1998 by Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Children's and UW Medicine. SCCA outpatient clinic was first opened in January 2001 and is located at 1354 Aloha Street, Seattle.

Seattle Cancer Alliance includes 300 oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists and other doctors treating about 7,000 cancer patients by 2014. Cancers treated at SCCA include leukemia, lymphoma, breast, prostate, lung, and bowel cancer great, among others. The organization has been named the Top Five Best Cancer Hospitals in the US by AS News & amp; World Reports for 2015-2016.
SCCA services include medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, supportive care and survival programs for patients. SCCA also operates the Fred Hutch Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
Fred Appelbaum, MD, is SCCA's executive and president director. Norm Hubbard is the executive vice president. As a non-profit company, SCCA is governed by 18 board members. SCCA's founding partner Fred Hutch, Seattle Children's and UW Medicine, each appointing six directors and at least four out of six community members.
The Seattle Cancer Alliance Alliance is a member of or accredited with the American College of Radiology, the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics, the College of American Pathologists, the Cancer Commission, the Cellular Accreditation Accreditation Foundation and the Joint Commission.
Together with Fred Hutch and the University of Washington Cancer Consortium, who joined Fred Hutch with SCCA, UW Medicine and Seattle Children's, SCCA is a Comprehensive Cancer Center designated by the National Cancer Institute. SCCA is also a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.

SCCA operates in the following locations:
South Lake Union : The major outpatient clinics provide medical oncology and hematology, radiation oncology and medical imaging services for adults. Children who undergo bone marrow transplantation can also be seen in this clinic.
Children of Seattle : SCCA provides oncology, hematology and oncology medical and inpatient services for children here.
UW Medical Center : This location provides oncology surgery and radiation oncology and inpatient services for adults. The SCCA Prostate Oncology Center is also located here.
EvergreenHealth : Located in Kirkland, Washington, this clinic provides oncology and outpatient medical hematology services for adults at the Halvorson Cancer Center.
SCCA Proton Therapy Center : Opened at Northwest Hospital UW Medicine & amp; Campus Medical Center in 2013. It is one of 15 proton therapy centers in the country.
Network Members
In addition to SCCA locations in the Greater Seattle area, SCCA has Network Members in other parts of the state of Washington and beyond the state. SCCA Network provides community-based physicians throughout the Pacific Northwest with access to resources including clinical research studies and consultation with SCCA doctors. Currently there are Network Members in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
